Planning a wedding can be a little daunting, Where should you start?
Book your venue first. Tara and Brad had their ceremony and reception at the McLaren Vale Institute hall it presented a lovely undercover area for the ceremony and a hall big enough for their 80 guests.
A multi venue wedding - Tara also got ready and had accomodation the night before at Oxenberry Farm and off -location photos at Pirramimma Winery.

Book your Celebrant : Being such a specific personal service, a celebrant can be booked out for key dates in the season very quickly, they also need time for the admin side and several meetings with you to get a feel for your relationships personality. Tara and Brad used Laura @lvceremonies she suits young, modern couples after authenticity. I have seen first hand the care she has for her clients.
3. Book your music and or entertainment, another service that books out quickly you may also want the chance to see some of their other gigs and shows. Tara and Brad were lucky to have a friend who is a DJ but if you want to go down the live music route Little Ditty Entertainment and Mason Lloyd Music are lovely to work with and are some of Adelaide's many talented local musicians.
4. Photographer
Adelaide has hundreds of photographers so there is someone out there to suit you specifically from amateur to 50 years experience and all spectrums of style. The best way is to pick someone local you can have a comfortable conversation that makes you feel confident. This person is going to be a really big presence on your day so choose someone you personally get along with. Also you will likely need at least one pre-wedding consult and a visit to the location so give yourself some time. Make sure you have seen several examples of their work and know what to expect. Some photographers work in pairs but I used a second shooter @claudiafischerphoto for the getting ready photos of Brad, his best man and the couples 3 year old son getting ready. And I photographed the bride getting ready, the ceremony, off-location photos and reception.

Stationary and smaller details - invites , you need time to gather addresses and send them out
